Crime Prevention
Trained through Louisville, KY Police Department's Crime Prevention School, Chief Joe George offers assistance to homeowners as well as business owners in reducing your exposure to crime through security assessments. Chief Joe George has also presented personal safety seminars with the assistance of guest speakers. Chief Joe George is available to speak to subdivision associations and other groups in the City.

Concealed Weapon and Purchase Permits
Applications for handgun purchase permits may be obtained at the police department weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A Notary Public is normally available at City Hall.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
The West Bloomfield Fire Department offers CPR training open to the public on a regular basis. Please visit

Victim Notification Program
Victim Notification Program provided by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HIS) allows eligible victims and witnesses to obtain reliable and timely information regarding a criminal alien’s release from custody. However, victims and witnesses are required to register with the agency in order to receive notification of a criminal alien’s release.
